Abolishment or suspension of California's Gas Tax has been a hot topic for California's Gubernatorial Candidates this spring. Unfortunately, we need this fund for transportation infrastructure. I will streamline this budget to fund more public transportation and dedicated bike lanes throughout California without increasing it. I would consider suspending California's Gas Tax for six months while exploring clean refining technologies in California.

Since 2018, California's cannabis sales and excise taxes have generated over $7.3 billion in revenue. Averaging close to $1 billion annually.

Alcohol taxes have remained unchanged since 1991 and generated only $415,007,000 in revenue from the 2024-2025 fiscal year. This is a luxury item that I propose taxing similarly to cannabis products to help fund California's schools, mental health, and healthcare.
